About TAG Heuer
TAG Heuer is a luxury watch brand founded in Switzerland in 1860 by Edouard Heuer. From the beginning, the company focused on developing chronographs, and in 1916 released the Mikrograph, the world's first stopwatch capable of measuring time in 1/100th of a second. This watch had a major impact on the field of sports timing.
In the 1960s, the brand developed the automatic chronograph movement "Caliber 11" and released the legendary "Monaco." It gained popularity due to its square case design and the fact that it was worn by Steve McQueen. The famous racing chronograph "Carrera" was also born around the same time and remains the brand's iconic model.
In 1985, Heuer merged with the TAG Group to become TAG Heuer, which developed sporty and innovative watches. In 2004, it released the highly accurate Monaco V4, and in 2015, the smartwatch Connected, fusing tradition with cutting-edge technology.
Today, the brand continues to offer popular collections such as the Monaco, Carrera, Aquaracer, and Formula 1, and provides high-performance watches as a brand with deep ties to motorsports and sports timekeeping.
