Jules Audemars Trivia

A Masterpiece of Dress Watches

Named after the company's founder, the Jules Audemars collection is a popular example of Audemars Piguet's high-class dress watches. This collection boasts a serene and beautiful design, and while its simple design is appealing, it also boasts a diverse lineup of models, including small seconds, dual time, and extra-thin timekeeping. Its ultimate simplicity and luxurious design make it well-suited for business settings. Its sophisticated and calming presence is a charm that sets it apart from sports watches.

Model Number Rules

Audemars Piguet model numbers consist of numbers, letters, and three periods. Each section is simply divided, so once you memorize it, you can roughly understand the characteristics of the model. The first five digits indicate the model number. These are also called short references and are often used to distinguish between models. For Jules Audemars, the standard numbers are "150~" and "151~." Chronograph, dual time, and calendar models often use "261~" and "263~." The two letters following the five digits indicate the case material, and the numbers separated by the first and second dots indicate whether or not the bezel is decorated. The alphanumeric characters separated by the second and third dots indicate the bracelet (strap) model number, and the final two digits indicate the dial material and color.
