Oyster perpetual luxury watches

The Oyster case, patented as the world's first waterproof watch, is equipped with a Perpetual mechanism, the world's first automatic winding mechanism with a rotor that rotates 360 degrees. The Oyster Perpetual is the origin of Rolex, incorporating two of Rolex's three greatest inventions. Evidence of this is the inscription "OYSTER PERPETUAL" on the dials of many models, including the Explorer, Submariner, and Daytona. While some current models are equipped with the Datejust mechanism, and the distinction between the Oyster Perpetual and the Datejust seems to be disappearing, the Oyster Perpetual remains distinct through case size and dial design, and several dial colors and designs exclusive to the Oyster Perpetual have been released in recent years. This model connects Rolex history to the present day.
