This iconic model, symbolizing casual elegance, became a hot topic in 1976. Designed by the renowned designer Gérald Genta, it's so popular that even pre-orders at authorized retailers require several years of waiting. Its rounded octagonal bezel, ship's porthole-inspired case, and simple horizontally embossed dial exude elegance and dignity. To celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2006, the original design was further refined, incorporating subtle calfskin detailing into both hinges, and the bracelet became more flexible and slimmer, providing a more comfortable fit.
