Aqua note luxury watches

Patek Philippe

The Aquanaut, released in 1997, was inspired by the Nautilus and became a popular model with its rounded octagonal case, fresh design, and "tropical" band made of high-tech composite material that was waterproof and heat-resistant.
The youthful and dynamic indexes and the three-dimensional waffle dial are well-balanced, emphasizing the sporty spirit while still retaining the elegance of Patek Philippe. Large and extra-large sizes were added in 2007. Many new sparkles have been added, including chronograph models, travel time models, and ladies' models.

Aquanaut FAQ

What is a tropical band?

This is the name given to the Aquanaut band, which is made of a special high-tech composite material. Known as a tropical band, the material is not only waterproof, but also tow-resistant and shock-resistant. It's also UV-resistant, meaning it won't deteriorate even when exposed to UV rays, making it perfect for sports.

What is the difference between a Nautilus and an Aquanaut?

A distinctive feature of both watches is their polygonal case, but the Aquanaut has a more rounded shape. The luminous Arabic numerals on the dial also give it a somewhat softer impression. The Aquanaut is also water resistant to 120m, so even though it's a luxury watch, it can be used safely around water.
