| 2010 | The Portuguese Tourbillon Mystère Rétrograde, Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph, and Portuguese Grande Complication are launched. |
| 2003 | The Spitfire is born in the Pilot's Watch collection. |
| 2000 | The introduction of the Caliber 5000, which allows for a 7-day power reserve. |
| 1994 | The Pilot's Watch Mark XII is released, continuing the tradition of the Mark 11. |
| 1990 | The wristwatch-sized "Grand Complication" is announced. |
| 1980 | Designer FA Porsche created the world's first titanium-cased chronograph. |

| 1967 | The Aquatimer is launched, the first diver's watch designed for professional divers and water resistant to 20 bar (200 metres). |

| 1946 | Development of the ultra-precise Caliber 89, designed by Albert Pellaton. |
| 1940 | The Big Pilot's Watch Caliber 52 TSC is released. With a large case diameter of 55.0 mm, it offers excellent legibility. |
| 1939 | The "Portugieser" is born. Portuguese merchants order a large wristwatch equipped with a highly accurate pocket watch movement. |
| 1936 | Launch of the "Special Pilot's Watch" with a rotating bezel for reading flight time. |
| 1915 | The Caliber 75 wristwatch movement is released, marking a full-scale entry into the wristwatch market. |
| 1899 | IWC introduces its first wristwatch, powered by the Calibre 64, a women's pocket watch movement. |
| 1885 | Introduces the Pallweber System, the world's first pocket watch with digital hour and minute hand displays, which has a major impact on the watch industry. |
| 1868 | Florentine Ariosto Jones founds the International Watch Company in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, with the aim of producing high-quality pocket watches for the American market. |
