The chain size was 27cm (as stated in the product information) and it was a continuous 54cm loop, so it was a mysterious necklace that didn't fit over one's head. The average head circumference for a woman is apparently 56-58cm.
I will be replacing it with a longer silk cord, so that's fine, but I wish they had mentioned that the back isn't open.
