Born and raised in a family of Greek silversmiths, founder Sotirio Bvlgari later moved to Italy and created an unprecedented design that combined traditional Greek architecture with ancient Roman style. Utilizing his jewelry processing techniques, he launched a line of watches in 1977.
The limited edition digital watches produced as gifts proved popular, leading to the launch of the Bvlgari Bvlgari on the market. In 1980, Bvlgari Time was established in Switzerland, specializing in watchmaking, and in 2010, the company announced it would become a watchmaker and develop its own movements. The watches, which combine the highest quality Swiss watchmaking technology with Italian design, have been sophisticated since the time they were produced, and have been loved by people for a long time.
